Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is. Don’t fall for pseudo-science and false claims, be smart about your weight loss.
2. They’re Ineffective
Aside from being dishonest, diet pill manufacturers create products that don’t even work.
Will you lose some weight if you take a few of these pills? Sure, but only temporarily — and not the kind of weight you’re looking to lose.
They work by introducing stimulants to your system, such as caffeine. If you thought Starbucks prices were high, you’re getting the same effect with a diet pill.
You’ll only lose water weight which will quickly come back. The goal in a healthy weight loss is to build muscle and lose fat.

Another issue with supplements is that they don’t encourage a lifestyle change at all. You’re still likely consuming too many calories, and you may not exercise as much as you need to.
